Spring break in Hawaii!

You didn’t remember the last time we went to Hawaii because you were a little baby!  I think maybe 3 or 4 months old?  The flight was great – you were such a trooper sitting in the plane for such a long period of time.  We’ve been going to Hawaii every other year for some time now.  We usually stay at the Ko’Olina beach club in Oahu when we visit.

Anthony, Mai Wong, Meibo and Deron met up with us in Oahu.  We had an amazing time.  On Sunday, we had a wonderful brunch at the Four Seasons – you tried a variety of different foods but loved making your own ice cream sundae, two rounds with lots and lots of chocolate and sprinkles.  Monday, we visited the aquarium in Waikiki where you got to touch hermit crabs.  We then headed to the Dole plantation on Tuesday and had some shaved ice.  You loved the train ride at Dole so much that we went on it twice.  Also, you won a black pearl at the oyster jewelry booth.  The rest of the week was full of pool and beach time, shaved ice and enjoyed the big bathtub in our room.  Speaking of the big bathtub, I think that was by far your favorite activity.  Literally wake up and want to take a bath, along with another 2-3 during the day, in between pool and beach time.  It was hysterical.

The evening pool time was best, not too busy, not too much sun, the water was warmer and no sunscreen needed.  You have been talking about going back to Hawaii ever since we returned back.  It was an amazing time.  Love you silly didi!!

2018 is off to a great start!

Happy New year!

We had a number of fun-filled events to start off the new year.  First, we went to a Paw Patrol Live show downtown.  You had a really good time.  Also in January, we celebrated Ben's 7th birthday party where you had a lot of fun partying w the big kids.

Now that you are fully communicating, you have a lot to say. Here are a few funny Bradleyisms:

1/23:  You smell good mommy!  I smell like my mommy
1/28:  Broccoli is a principal (vegetable)
1/30:  Mama open this for me (while driving).  Followed by, "Mama keep both hands on the stirring wheel!!"
3/2: I'm so handsome when I hit people
