Christmas

Christmas came really fast this year.  After Hawaii, we only had a couple of weekends until Christmas.  Daddie got a great big tree at the Glen Lake Optimist Field just in time as there was a tree shortage. 

We also did our traditional hands and feet salt ornaments.

Bradley, Brad o lee, B-rad, Didi - 2020 was a challenging year.  You continue to have a heart of gold.  Your teachers have regularly commented on how kind you are to others.  Just about every day, you get a skipper ticket.  School has been tough but you continue to learn.  We also have you meeting a tutor twice a week to get your reading skills on par with English 1st graders. 

I love you so very much Bradley!!

Halloween, our favorite holiday.  We went to pick out lots of pumpkins.  You are a big fan of gourmet pumpkins- white ones, the ones with lots of bumps and huge, huge, pumpkins.

Nothing says Halloween like a black chocolate cake with orange chips, green frosting and lots of eyeballs. 

Our annual trek to Target - this year is the matching rainbow unicorn. 

Everybody is ready to go!  We had our candy safely placed outside for trick or treaters.  :) :)  You and your brother both came back with a TON of candy!! 

Like your brother, you are also very good with your words such as:

-Ben keeps rage quitting

-You gotta communicate your thoughts better

-You are undermining me baba.  Mama, I'm not mad at you but why did you put your things by my stuff. LOL 

First grade!!

We are super ready for school!! With Rona, it's been distance learning since March.  This has been tough as studies have shown younger children learn through social interaction.  You were very excited for your first day of school.  

You also had a great first day, first week, first month!  Every day in-class is a day of success. We were able to keep you and Ben in school until the beginning of December.  For K - 3, the kiddos went to Excelsior and had pod teaching with a main teacher.  For 4th and 5th graders, the kids went to the High School 4 times a week.  Both mama and baba coordinated drop off and pick ups.

Future YouTube influencer.  We finally moved you to kids YouTube.  Still a fan of camo and your gold shoes (grew into new bigger size)

Classes at DOJO karate!  You also had private swim classes with your brother.

First day of school, you really like your teacher. 

And just like that, Fall is here and our trees are turning color.Some one got a new scoooter.You are really really good on your scooter... and fast!!

We have evolved to rainbow sneakers now to match your dabbing rainbow unicorn backpack.

2020 Fall photos

It's been four years since we had family photos.  Fall was a perfect time.  We went to Lake Harriet and had a lot of fun taking family pictures followed by cinnamon rolls and root beer

Sad day at the Berger household.  We lost Chippy.  He was a trooper - all summer long, he was showing signs of age.  We got two bigger tanks, new pump, everything possible and he lasted all winter and spring but went to heaven this summer.  You were a little sad.  We had a proper burial in the back yard.
