2014: September 2023

Ruh Roh. Sept 16th was a rough day for you. We had a soccer game against Bloomington (we won!). But you got stung by a wasp on the field. In the late afternoon, when you were biking in the cul-de-sac, you took a quick turn and the bike tipped over. As you used your arm to support the fall, you broke it.

First major concern - will you be able to play video games? Might be slow but you'll be fine in a couple of weeks.

You were super brave and tough. There was a lot of pain and times when you were scared. Both mama and baba were there. Beni joined later for support too.

On Sunday, you were taking it easy at home. Requests were fairly consistent, pain meds, i pad, milk, pokemon cards, days off school

First day back at school - Hat Day

Summer is quickly coming to an end and we are trying to squeeze as much fun as we can. We started off with a week of golf camp. You liked that it was half a day, four days a week and there was cold treats at the end. So far, I think we have swimming (aka playing in the water) and soccer as a favorite sport.

8/12 - Mama and baba are not good fishers but you LOVE fishing and catching big fish! We went fishing with a professional guide and you caught five big fish. One was a four pounder and 27" As a result, you like to go ocean fishing next time we are in Hawaii and signing up for fishing in Alaska. Love how you are one with nature Bradley. Always a catch and release guy but also wish you had a ginormous tank at home to keep them.

The last few weeks of August was extra hot.
Daddy got out the water slide.

Vacation time

We had a playdate with Oscar. The weather was perfect. You shared with Oscar that you have anxiety (don't punch me in the stomach Oscar). You explained that it's when your brain thinks your in danger but your not. You named yours Dwayne mode. I'm amazed at how you can explain your feelings. We went to have it checked out with Michal and she gave us the thumbs up to go on vacation. All went well, chocolate was avoided! Now I have four pints of cookie dough ice cream in the fridge.

First night dinner

We arrive on Monday and immediately had lunch and went straight to the pool for aquamouse and pool time. Then, we relaxed and went to dinner at Arendelle's, more pool and room service at midnight.

On Tuesday, we arrived in the Bahamas and took an adventure on Blackbeard's pirate ship. You and your brother also did the Incredibles course a few times. Then it was more pool and dinner at 1923. In the evening we did non-stop aquamouse fireworks, popcorn and room service

Wednesday was Castaway Cay and it was a bit windy. The banana boat, aquatrike and sting ray was cancelled. You and your brother floated out a bit too far but you got back safely. Lunch on the island and then more aquamouse and pool. Dinner of pizza followed by more pool, aquamouse and room service.

Thursday was our last full day. You and I woke up and watched zootopia on funnelvision and then went to the edge, followed by pool and aquamouse. After lunch, we had ice cream and sweets at Inside Out. Some more pool time followed by dinner at Marvel. A last dip in the pool, room service at night!!
