August fun, wrapping up Summer

As fast as summer came, it's starting to wrap up.  The last month of summer, we usually have a babysitter.  This year, we had a babysitter (Jess) with the Ware's!  It was a busy and active month at our house.  Jess also has a little girl, Autumn.  She would take you out to beaches, parks, playgrounds, you name it!!

You are great at paddling

How many kids can fit on the paddleboard?

So focused - you were there for over 30 minutes trying to catch a chipmunk

Where's Bradley?

I LOVE this picture!! You waited so patiently for the orange trike.  Your brother is just about too old for it.  I think it's his last year :(

I can't believe we are starting to wrap up summer!  We still have two more weeks of fun.  I love how much you have grown up this year and still give me hugs and kisses.  You are fiercely independent and always adore Beni.  Covid and the delta variant is picking up again in the US.  We hope that vaccines will be available to children soon.  You have been very flexible in wearing your masks.  I love you so much Bradley.  You're more than I would ever expect!! Big hugs and kisses to you :) :)

Summer Camps and a busy July

As we continue to get settled into the new home, we continue to enjoy summer!  Mama's first priority was to make sure you and Ben had your bedrooms set up.  They are set up but get very little use! LOL  Next priority was to ensure the outdoors (playset, deck, pool) were ready - check.  Downstairs is also a kids dream, TV's, gaga ball pit, stuffie room and toy closet.

July is full of fun, camps, boat rides, Meibo and Shea came to visit too!

Having fun to dark... which is 9pm these days

We made lots of mosaics with Meibo and Shea.  They are pros at this.  You know why? They were camp counselors too!! How cool is that?

It's not a trip to MN without going on Lake Minnetonka!

RIP Cocoa

This is a sad post.  On June 28th, we woke up and Yipao noticed Cocoa was not feeling well. He was on his side and barely breathing.  Baba brought him to the emergency vet and he was suffering from respiratory failure.  It was sad to see him go.  When you came home from camp, we shared the sad news.  As Chipmunk was all alone, we had to find him another friend.  We went back to the humane society with Ben this time.

We saw two guinea pigs and picked them both up - Cookie and White Cocoa.  Although our time with Cocoa was short, he lived a very good life as you took good care of him.
RIP Cocoa, you were a joy in our family!  We buried you in the backyard and shared a nice eulogy.

White Cocoa likes you!

You are very gentle with White Cocoa

RIP Cocoa, you are missed

Summer starts

It is officially SUMMER!! Bring it on :) :)  This year, we are back to almost-normal summer.  We have back to back camps for June and July, then a babysitter with the Wares for August.  I like this set-up because August gets very hot for outdoor camps and with a babysitter, you get to sleep in.  First two weeks we went back to Camp Christmas Tree with Oscar.  You loved it so much you want more time next year and also an overnight!! I'm not sure I'm ready for that.

Then we did two weeks at tennis camp which was your least favorite.  I think the non-stop sun and only tennis as the activity was tough.  Luckily, we wrapped up with Sailing Camp with Adam and Oscar.  You loved sailing camp so much you went to the principal's office twice with Oscar.

Got a little burned at Tennis

Christmas tree parents night - Archery

You LOVE this brat, ate three of them

Great seats for a Twins game v Yankees

I love you so much Bradley Berger!  You are the sweetest, kindest little guy.  You are generous and sharing with your brother and always helping others.  I'm so proud to be your mama.
