WHO'S AWESOME AT READING???

Second grade was a year of first.  We transitioned you to English so you had a whole class of new friends.  I think you did really well making new friends and right on your first day, you found out Ryder (neighborhood friend) is in your class.  Also, you really like Leo and Will.  In addition, you still play with Oscar at explorers.  Although lately, it's been more like frenemies.  

The biggest change is your reading.  You love time with Mrs. Fisher and your English scores went from 2nd percentile to 64th percentile!!! Whoot whoot.  Who is a rockstar?  Both your teachers shared that they are not surprised because you are trying so hard in class.  Your willingness to put in effort and try will go so far in life.  You are smart and when you put your mind to it, you are awesome.  In reviewing your school work, I have seen noticeable improvement.

Both a happy and sad day. We've been talking all year that Ben is graduating and won't be at the same school as you.... until one year in high school  I am sad too but I know you'll find new friends and always hang out with your brother at home!  Our family dynamics will continue to change but I know how much you love each other and will still spend time with each other.

8th Birthday Party!!

June 2nd, who turns 8?!  Bradley JunMa Berger!!  After much contemplation and thought, your birthday party was at Twin Cities Urban Combat MOA... LASER TAG!!! It was a great turnout.  We had you, Ben, Baba, Oscar, Ryder, Leo, Sam, Andrew and Brady.  Both big and little kids showed up and celebrated with you.  After an hour of active laser play, we had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe.  Similar to a few years ago, you opted for a Rainbow Sprinkle cake with rainbow frosting, chocolate and red velvet cake.

Yipao thought she would get an assorted amount of cash so it looks like a lot and helps you with math.  After counting them you said, "Yipao, next time just give me a hundred dollar bill".

Memorial Day & Where is Bradley?

We are 'springing' back to normalcy.  Everything is in-person and the mask mandate has lifted.  With these changes there was a very big wave of Covid in which Ben and Baba got covid.  You stayed negative and shared that "Covid is for the weak".  LOL
