2015 is a big year for you Didi – you turned ONE! I know, my youngest is turning one. You are getting so big. Every couple of months, I have to put away the clothes that you have outgrown and it makes me a little sad. You have a big personality and are loved everywhere you go. All the teachers adore you at daycare. Ms Jen and Ms Shelly thinks you are super cool. They even call you B-RAD. Every morning, you go in, play with the toys and then head over to Ms Jen to help her with her paperwork. HA
You are super active too! You’re already down to one nap and pretty much on your feet from the time you show up at daycare to the time we pick you up. Ms Shelly shares that you are happy all the time, curious, determined, and love art time.
In June, Yipao and NaiNai came to visit for your birthday. We sang happy birthday and had a big birthday cake. It was a lot of fun. You’re very smart – I can tell in how you stack cups, put the cap back on bottles, you seem to have good analytical skills. And, you are definitely an outdoors kiddo. If you could, I think you would live outside. Your determination and curiosity results in quite a bit of accidents at school.
Favorite foods – mac n cheese, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, corn, peas, carrots, hot dogs, hummus (LOVE)
This week (8/10/15) was a milestone week for you – moving up to toddlers. Ms Jen said you seemed really ready to stretch your legs and have more room. Lovell also moved up as well. Mama was NOT ready! You’re also drinking out of the sippy cup more, only taking one bottle at school. All my babies are growing up! It’s ok – you still like to cuddle for bedtime and naps J
Next week, we will go to Connecticut to see Yipao and Uncle Johnny. That will be fun!
