Bradley Berger, you have been waiting for this day since the first of the year. For the last six months, you've been telling us about your birfday (birthday) party. After Christmas, Yipao promised to come celebrate your birthday with you and you never forgot, neither did Yipao! We would talk daily about how old you will be at your birthday party. In the beginning, you had a hard time showing me four with your fingers. Sometimes it would be five, six, even seven but never four. Eventually, you let time win and give in to being four.
You told all of us you wanted your party at a beach with swimming. After spring break in Hawaii, you insisted on having your birthday party in Hawaii and invited everyone from your daycare. Luckily, we were able to recalibrate your expectations to the splash pad and treehouse at Williston. Your birthday party was attended by Tad, Siena, Ollie, Matthew, Elle, Melissa, James, Judah, Lovell and your brother. Everyone had a ton of fun. We did a water theme, pizza lunch and rainbow cake with lots of sprinkles (ALOT).
For the entire birfday week, Yipao hung out with you, we went to a Twins game, rides and fun at MoA and also went to Brady's birthday party. Busy, busy!
Happy 4th Birthday Bradley Berger! You have a heart of gold and activity level of a sporty four-year old. You continue to love your brother unconditionally and will give him anything of yours, even if it's the last of your favorite toy or candy. You swim like a fish and love the outdoors. In addition, now that you can carry on a conversation, you talk nonstop. We also see Grandma Jean in you with your love of cats. You love cats soo much that Baba brings you to the meow café regularly. You said to me, "mama, I want a kitty but you're wergic. maybe you can live in another house... in Minnetonka". Yes, total brat but so cute. I love you so much and adore your big heart and love of life, family and friends. Thanks for making us laugh ALL the time B-rad!
