Uncle Johnny

We have some sad news to start 2023 / end 2022. Over the holiday break, we learned that Uncle Johnny passed away. This was sudden and super sad news. He was trimming a tree and had a bad fall. What makes it sadder was that we haven't seen much of Uncle Johnny in the past few years with covid and other stuff. Both of you wanted to attend the funeral and say good-bye. I am amazed at how mature you are in facing this loss and sadness.

Uncle Johnny was a constant and bright light in your lives. I am so happy you got to know him and spend time with him. Uncle Johnny was always thinking of the both of you - we would visit twice a year (minimum) and he would pick us up, drop us off, house filled with food and toys and he would plan out lots of activities. He was always generous and patient with the both of you. Although Uncle Johnny did not live to see his own grandchildren, he certainly treated the both of you like his own. We will have our moments of sadness but you wanted me to put this in your blog so you always remember the memories of Uncle Johnny. Rest in peace!!
