5th Grade!!

Haircut and ready to go!  This is your very last year at Excelsior - 5th Grade!  Great news, you're in the same classroom as Renner, Ryder and a few other friends :)

Last animal rescue of the summer, an injured squirrel fell from a tree.  You knew he was badly injured and likely will die but wanted him to be comfortable and safe. 

Soccer starts! 

Whacky hat day!

  Starting 5th grade has been a little rough.  We learned that although you love Max last year, there was not a lot of learning or structure.  5th grade is your last year before middle school so there's a bit more structure and middle school readiness. 

Also, lots of new staff, Mr Breen is your new Asst Principal, Mr W is the new spec ed and Ms B is new too.  Smasal and Fisher are the only ones that are from previous years.  We also had to take a little bit to get your meds adjusted but it's going much better now!
