Fall 2015
Hello Didi!
I can't believe it's already Fall. The move up to toddlers was great and you really enjoy the extra space, bigger play area, toys and new friends. Ms Alyssa, Ms Shelby enjoy having you in class. Also, you are a special, special to Ms. Jenn. You enjoy hugs, cuddles and helping her with paperwork. You continue to test your limits and we've received a few incident reports of you as a biter and being bitten.
You had a ton of fun in Connecticut. Yipao loves all of her cuddle time with the wild horsey. We went to the beach, train rides, boat rides and pool time. Yipao loves you so much, she couldn't wait to see you last month at Disney World!! She got you the biggest Eeyore at the Pooh store, which you love to hug and cuddle everyday. Disney was fun for you but got a little scary at night. The tea cups were your favorite ride.
I call you my wild and crazy horsey. You love to be outside. I think you would live outdoors if you could! And, you don't mind walking barefoot on the grass, mulch or driveway. Your brother still doesn't go out w/o shoes. You have a strong personality - very determined and vocal, not afraid of anything or anyone. The other day, Emerson walked over to give you a stare down and it didn't phase you one bit. Hilarious to watch!
Milestones:
15 month checkup: 23.9 lbs, 31 inches and 7% for head
9/5 - said "ball" and "milk". We now realize all drinks are 'milk'.
9/10 - waves bye-bye and blows kisses
9/20 - looked in the mirror, pointed and said, "Baadlee"
9/29 - good at nodding "yes" or "no"
10/5 - bit someone in the face
10/10 - says 'newooh"
10/23 - drinking from a straw, using fork and spoon well
10/30 - train goes "choo choo" car goes "beep beep" can also say mama, baba
Didi, you are a ray of sunshine and bundle of cheeriness. Every morning, you wake up with a big smile on your face and lots of laughs. You're a super fast toddler and smart, smart, smart. Everyone enjoys being around you Bradley. I love you so much!!

Summer Fun - Turning One!
2015 is a big year for you Didi – you turned ONE! I know, my youngest is turning one. You are getting so big. Every couple of months, I have to put away the clothes that you have outgrown and it makes me a little sad. You have a big personality and are loved everywhere you go. All the teachers adore you at daycare. Ms Jen and Ms Shelly thinks you are super cool. They even call you B-RAD. Every morning, you go in, play with the toys and then head over to Ms Jen to help her with her paperwork. HA
You are super active too! You’re already down to one nap and pretty much on your feet from the time you show up at daycare to the time we pick you up. Ms Shelly shares that you are happy all the time, curious, determined, and love art time.
In June, Yipao and NaiNai came to visit for your birthday. We sang happy birthday and had a big birthday cake. It was a lot of fun. You’re very smart – I can tell in how you stack cups, put the cap back on bottles, you seem to have good analytical skills. And, you are definitely an outdoors kiddo. If you could, I think you would live outside. Your determination and curiosity results in quite a bit of accidents at school.
Favorite foods – mac n cheese, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, corn, peas, carrots, hot dogs, hummus (LOVE)
This week (8/10/15) was a milestone week for you – moving up to toddlers. Ms Jen said you seemed really ready to stretch your legs and have more room. Lovell also moved up as well. Mama was NOT ready! You’re also drinking out of the sippy cup more, only taking one bottle at school. All my babies are growing up! It’s ok – you still like to cuddle for bedtime and naps J
Next week, we will go to Connecticut to see Yipao and Uncle Johnny. That will be fun!

Spring
Hi Didi,
I can't believe you are almost one!! This year went by so quickly. In the past two months, you've been doing all sorts of fun things. At your checkup on 4/11, you weighed 20 pounds. You are also teething quite a bit - 8 total right now!
You're a pretty smart cookie. When you crawl under a table, you would tuck your head when you back out. You are also the most active kid in daycare, Ms Jen, Ms Shelly and Ms Lauren just love you! They have also explained to me that you are very determined. If you have your mind set, nothing is going to stop you! You are by far the fastest kid around - whether its crawling or speeding in your walker. It's hard to catch up!
The other day, you took a pretty good tumble. Fell onto the floor outside in your car seat. A bloody nose and quick a shiner, you cried a little and was over it. If your nose is crooked one day, you can blame me and I'm sure I'll feel guilty enough to fund your nose job.
You have your favorite foods - elbow macaroni with alfredo, veggie straws, ice cream, cheese puffs, corn, peas and carrots and cereal. On occasion, you also like cheese sticks and yogurt.
You've also pooped on the carpet twice. YIKES. Just when I think you're done pooping for the day, you prove me wrong. We still get a good laugh about it.
On 5/12, you had you first incident report b/c you bit someone at school. In your defense, the other baby put their finger in your mouth. You've also started to stand unassisted (5/14) and taking about four steps on your own (5/24).
We love you so much and look forward to celebrating your first birthday!!
